Jean I. (Bauders) Black, 66, of Fremont, was called home to our Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Prestine Senior Living. She was born on August 30, 1949 in Bellevue to Raymond Bauders & Lillian (Gardner) Bauders Robinson.
Jean was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and received her Associate Degree from Terra Community College. She worked at the Sandusky County Health Department as a medical secretary until her retirement on June 1, 2003.
Jean was known for being the Christian Clown, aka "J.B. Jolly". She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo, but especially loved her grandkids.
Jean is survived by children, Laurie Black, Tom Black, Sarah (Don) Hardy, all of Fremont, and Karen (Brian)Wurzel of Clyde; grandchildren, Alyssa Black, Donnie Hardy, Matthew Black and Samantha Hardy; siblings, Sharon Krall and Paul (Sophie) Bauders, all of FL, and Lee (Sherry) Bauders of Clyde; and beloved nieces and nephews, Haley & Breanna Farrar, Paula (Jimmy) Sheehan, Chris Yeager, Greg (Tammy) Bauders, Todd (Windsor) Bauders, Tamy (Karl) Raypole, and Lana (Dave) DeGraaf.
She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Paul Robinson; and twin sister, Jane I. (Bauders) Yeager, who passed away Nov. 30, 1990.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 9:00 - 11 a.m., at the Eastside Presbyterian Church, Fremont where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00. Ted Fisher will be officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood. A Time of Fellowship will follow burial at church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.
