Ronald J. Miller, 78, of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his home.  He was born on March 27, 1938 in Fremont to Herman & Inez (Mathias) Miller.

Ronald was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph's Central Catholic High School and later received his associates degree in accounting.  He was a broker for the B.P.U Investments of Pittsburgh for 20 years before his retirement in 2009.

Oh June 14, 1958, Ronald married Marilyn Wurzel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; she survives.  Also surviving are children, Cynthia (Howard) Wehrle of Edgewood, KY, Debra (Dr. Timothy) Sauber of Fremont, Laura (Jonathon) Alumbaugh of Northville, MI, and Mark (Lianne) Miller of Plymouth, MI; siblings, Mary Louise Randolph of Fremont, Mercedes (Patrick) Nicosia of Rochester, MI, and Kathleen (Richard) Barbour of Fremont; 10 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.

He is proceeded in death by his brother, Basil; mother, Inez Mathias Miller; father, Herman Miller and step-mother, Monica Streeter Miller.

Ronald was Chairman of the Centralization Committee of St. Joseph's High School and is a member of St. Joseph's Schools Hall of Fame. He was a member of St. Joseph's & St. Ann's Cemetery Board.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Friday, August 19, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fremont. Burial will be private at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Bishop Hoffman Catholic High School or ProMedica Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
