Adela A. Rodriguez, 66, of Fremont passed away unexpectedly at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont. She was born on March 7, 1950 in Harlingen, Texas to Guadalupe & Maria Elena (Galan) Aguilar.
She graduated from Gibsonburg High School and later went to cosmetology school. Adela enjoyed cooking for her family and guests. She was an avid Bingo player and was sure to get her many cards and a table in the back of the YMCA or anywhere Bingo was being held.
In 1972, Adela married the love of her life, Jose G. Rodriguez, Sr., and they had 3 children: Margarita I. Rodriguez Gonzalez of Fremont, Ester Badillo-Gallegos of Detroit, MI and Jose G. Rodriguez, Jr. of Fremont who all survive. Also surviving are grandchildren, Erasmo Jr., Fabian, Jesus and Sergio Gonzalez, Lilia, Veya, Yasmine and Naylie Badillo, and Audrey and Samara Rodriguez; siblings, Raquel Molina, Mary Ramirez, Sylvia Celedon, Anita Aguilar, Eloisa Garcia, Maria Luisa Ruiz; and brothers Alfredo Ruiz, Alfred Aguilar, Trini Rivera, Rosa Aguilar and Yolanda Opata.
Visitation will be held at the Herman- Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Thurs., Sept. 22, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. where a Wake Service will held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Gibsonburg on Fri., Sept. 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before the Mass. Fr. Christopher Bazar will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Michael & Lawrence Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
Memorials may be made to the care of the family.
