Charles A. Adams, 71, of Gibsonburg passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born on August 3, 1945 in Virgie, KY to David and Rosetta (Akers) Adams. Charles was a warehouse manager at Tecoglas in Toledo for several years.

Surviving is his wife, Doris (Brinkmeier) Adams, of Gibsonburg; children, David Adams of Toledo, Ronald Dean Adams, and Tonya (Mark) Kirsch both of Gibsonburg; step-children, Laura Esker, Beth Kirwen both of Gibsonburg, Jane Lance of Bradner, and Christina (Danny) Messer of Albany, OR; siblings, Carol Day, Hester Price, Judy Gardner, Rodney Adams, Mary Welch, Brenda Gump, and Paul Adams; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Martha Dean and Davey Lea.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Herman-Veh Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg where memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
