Larry D. Picciuto, 64, of Gibsonburg died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. He was born on March 7, 1953 in Fremont to Antonio and Martha (Wasserman) Picciuto.
Larry was a 1971 Gibsonburg High School graduate, and he worked for TRW formerly Kelsey Hayes.
Larry enjoyed watching Sprint car and NASCAR racing and rooting on his favorite teams: Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns. He also enjoyed fishing. For the last 30 years, Larry had been restoring his 1967 Chevy Impala, and he was a natural at the Billiards, winning several pool tournaments.
Surviving is his son, David (Kelly) Picciuto of Toledo; father, Antonio of Gibsonburg; siblings, Paul (Julie) Picciuto, John (Lana) Picciuto, Pam (John) Beaber, and Tina (Joe) Santiago all of Gibsonburg.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha.
Friends and Family are welcomed to the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Monday, March 13th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 14th beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Fr. Christopher Bazar will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s & Lawrence Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
