Joan R. “Jo Bobbie” Clink, 83, passed away at her home Saturday evening on July 1, 2017. She was born on June 22, 1934 in Appalachia, VA to Claude Kaiser & Mazelphia Renfro and was also raised by Luther Foster.
Joan worked for the Great Lakes Sugar Company as a sugar boiler. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and loved to travel. She loved to read, watch movies and television. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
In 1955, Joan married Clair W. Clink in Madison, West Virginia. They were married for 26 years before his passing in 1981.
Surviving are her children, Ginger Workman of Clyde, Rick (Tammy Henderson) Clink of Bellevue, Delores “Sue” Keegan of Fremont and Wally (Cyndi) Clink of Fremont; step-children, Don Clink of Stoney Ridge, Mary Jane Davis of Van Wert, Larry (Nancy) Clink of Fremont and Bobby (Sue) Clink of Lima; 34 grandchildren; 83 great-children and 31 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont where Family Remembrances will be shared at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
