Fairh Lee White

January 24, 1918 — September 6, 2017

Mrs. Fairh Lee White, age 99 of DeSoto, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Harbor Hospice located at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1918 to the union of Hunley and Birdie Surratt. Fairh Lee was a devoted wife and homemaker. She loved to shop, take long rides, sew and fish. She attended Concord Church, Dallas, Texas.

Fairh Lee is survived by her sister, Mary Oliver of DeSoto, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rufus White of 57 years, sisters: Jessie Frazier, Madie Sewell, Martha Surratt, and brothers: Ollie Bean Surratt, Joseph Surratt, Hunley Surratt, and Jerome Surratt.

She was so excited about her upcoming 100th birthday party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BELOVED SISTER AND AUNTIE.

There will be an hour of visitation held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Elder Martin L. Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
