Rural Clyde resident, Lee C. Bauders, 69, passed away Sunday, Oct 29, 2017 at the Heritage Village of Clyde.
Born on Apr. 30, 1948 in Bellevue, Lee was a son of Raymond and Lillian (Gardner) Bauders Robinson. He graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1966. Later that year, he married the love of his life, Sherry Keller, on Oct. 15, 1966 in Fremont. They recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Sherry survives in Clyde.
Lee was a "Jeep driver" at Whirlpool. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, OSU football and pestering his wife as well as everyone else. Most of all, Lee loved his family. As a husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, he will be sorely missed and irreplaceable to many.
Lee is also survived by daughters, Tamy (Karl) Raypole of Republic and Lana (Dave) DeGraaf of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Josh (Amanda) Bauders & Kevin Raypole and Alissa & Dylan Fargo; siblings, Sharon Krall of Sarasota, FL and Paul (Sophie) Bauders of Port Clinton; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents and twin sisters, Jane Yeager and Jean Black.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be offered on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, 2-5 p.m., at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart or Diabetes Associations.
