Jared Herr

Jared Herr, 33, of Port Clinton passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 4, 1984 in Sandusky to Jeffrey and Cynthia (Wammes) Herr.

Jared was a Fremont Ross and Vanguard graduate. After high school, Jared worked for a few different Fremont businesses as a sub-contractor/concrete finisher, most recently at Dan Miller Construction.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his guns, target shooting, camping, and canoeing. More than anything, he liked to spend time with the people he cared most about, his family and friends.

Surviving is his parents, Jeff and Cynthia of Fremont; brother, Ryan Herr of Helena; girlfriend, Heather Wylie of Port Clinton; grandma, Madalyn Wammes of Fremont. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Wammes and Richard & Joyce Herr; uncle, Randy Herr; and great-grandma, Reva Lehmann.

Friends and family will be welcomed to the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. where there will be a funeral service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Deacon Jim Heyman will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made at Fremont Federal Credit Union under Cindy Herr.

There will be a Spaghetti Dinner at Big Shots Pub & Grub, 121 S. Stone St., Fremont, Ohio 43420, on Friday, December 1, 2017 all day beginning at 11:00 a.m.
