Michael Roberts

Michael L. Roberts, 48, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Parkview Care Center. He was born on August 4, 1969 in Somerset, PA, to Rick Roberts & Gail (Eller) Lash.

Michael was a 1987 graduate of North Star High School. He continued his education at Terra State Community College where he received his Associate Degree. Michael worked at Tenneco Automotive as a CAD Designer for many years. He was a former member of the Moose. Michael enjoyed boating, painting, vacations to the Caribbean, and listening to Country and Christian music. He loved cooking and watching movies.

On July 18, 1998, Michael married the love of his life, Maria Bame, at Hayes United Methodist Church; she survives.  Also surviving are his daughter, Chelsea Roberts of Somerset, PA; mother, Gail (Jim) Lash of Painesville, OH and sister, Jessica (Jeff) Baker of Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rick Roberts and sister, Jennifer Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. at the Herman Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon to follow at Anjulina’s Catering and Banquet Hall, Fremont.

Contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society or Heartland Hospice.
