Martha M. Fisher

Martha M. Fisher, 93, of Fremont passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Valley View Health Campus in Fremont.

Martha was born on Aug. 4, 1924 in Toledo, a daughter of Louie and Theresa (Boris) Nagy.  She worked as a surgical blade grinder at Crescent Manufacturing, retiring in 1986.  Martha was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont and enjoyed cooking, playing cards and reading.

On Feb. 14, 1942, Martha married Fred Fisher in Toledo.  They were married for over 63 years until his passing on Oct. 15, 2005.

Surviving are children, Wayne (Marti) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Carl (JoAnn) of Fremont; son-in-law, Dale Kistler of Clyde; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Clara Kistler; and siblings Elizabeth Fisher and Louis & George Nagy.

Graveside Committal Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan 17, 2018, beginning at 11 a.m. at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.  Dear Friend and Caregiver, Janie Reidmaier will speak in her remembrance.
