Marilyn J. Miller, 79. of Fremont, passed away on January 12th.
She was born on February 20th, 1938 in Fremont to Kenneth and Madeline (Behm) Wurzel.
On June 14th, 1958, Marilyn married Ronald Miller at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ron and Marilyn were married 58 years when he passed away in 2016.
Surviving are children: Cynthia (Howard “Butch”) Wehrle of Edgewood, Ky., Debra (Dr. Timothy) Sauber of Fremont, Laura (Jonathon) Alumbaugh of Northville, Michigan and Mark (Lianne) Miller of Plymouth, Michigan. There are 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by Ronald her husband, parents and siblings, Sylvia Sue, Thomas and Kathleen Scott.
Marilyn was a 1956 graduate of Fremont St. Joseph’s Central Catholic High School. Marilyn worked as a receptionist for Dr. Rowe and Dr. Clark in their podiatry practice until 1989 when she retired. Marilyn was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
Marilyn was a volunteer for the Right to Read program. She was a past member of St. Frances Guild and the Croghan St. Garden Club. Marilyn enjoyed painting and watercolors. She used her talents to teach lessons for over 10 years while spending time in Florida.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont where a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will be at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Central Catholic High School.
