Ada M. Biehler, 97, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Valley View surrounded by her family. She was born on October 29, 1920 in Clyde, OH to Edward and Elsie (Overmyer) Polter.
Ada graduated from Jackson Burgoon High School in 1939. On December 19, 1941 she married the love of her life, Leonard Biehler, sharing 32 wonderful years together. She worked at various places including, Quick Cut, Johnson Greenhouse, and as a cook at Billy’s Restaurant Truck Stop for 18 years. Ada was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Kingsway. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and quilting.
Surviving is her son, Jerry (Shirley) of Clyde; grandchildren, Chris (William) Bradshaw, Tom Biehler, Robert Biehler, Jennifer Moore, Heather (Jerry) Henry, and Janelle (Nathan) Johnston; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ada is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; son, Lanny; daughter-in-law, Helen Biehler; and siblings, Gladine Brockway, Lester, Clarence, Henry, and Donald Polter.
Graveside Services will be held for family and close friends at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. Pastor Scott Mauch will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to ProMedica Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
