Agnes Sidney Blake, 91, passed away on March 5, 2018 at Valley View Health Campus. She was born on March 31, 1926 in Parish, AL. A graduate of Walker Co. Training School, Jasper, AL.; Agnes was a Musician and a Soloist in Ohio and Alabama. She loved every opportunity she had to share her gifts of playing the piano and singing at First Baptist Church, Fremont. She also liked to go fishing.
Surviving are children James Sidney, Beatrice “Faye” Sidney and Larry Blake; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons Johnny Earl Sidney and Troy Sidney; daughter Gloria J. Taylor; husband Robert Blake; brothers James, Willie and Bobby Johnson; and sisters Lydia Darnell, Mayme Johnson and Esther Vincent.
No Services will be held as her body was willed to the University of Toledo. Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services are in care of her arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Sandco Industries and/or First Baptist Missionary Church, 1697 Dickinson St., Fremont.
