Trudy May Gentry, 76, of Fremont, passed away on March 22, 2018 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. She was born January 6, 1942 in Fremont to Paul & Margaret (Hausman) Cochey.
Trudy was a 1960 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She was the owner of House of Crafts in Toledo for 16 years. Trudy enjoyed sewing, making crafts and shopping on QVC. She was also a member of First United Church of Christ.
Trudy and her husband, Jack Gentry, had celebrated their 33rd anniversary on December 1, 2017. In addition to Jack, also surviving are children, David Klotz and Daniel (Pamela) Klotz of Adrian, MI; step-daughters, Kimberly Morgan of Clawson, MI and Carol Bracht of Fremont; grandchildren, David, Kristopher, Jeremy, Stacie, Angella , Bryan, Matthew and Faith; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul (Sharon), Charles (Pina), Robert (Kathy) Cochey, and Judy (Pat) Hubbs; and several nieces and nephews.
Trudy is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Monday, March 26, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Walk will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
