Pauline E. Lamale

Pauline E. Lamale, 88, of Lindsey, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Elmwood of Fremont.  She was born on December 6, 1929 in Lindsey to Otto Orville & Bessie Catherine (Richards) Miller.

Pauline was a 1947 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and then continued her education at Riverside School of Nursing, graduating in June of 1951. Pauline worked as a Registered Nurse at Community Hospital and for several family physicians. She was a supporter of Woodmore High School events. Pauline enjoyed knitting, sewing, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

On January 20, 1952, Pauline married Donald E. Lamale in Lindsey. They celebrated 40 wedding anniversaries before his passing in 1992. Together they raised their children, Stephen (Peggy Ann) Lamale of Lindsey, Kathryn Sanka of Bowling Green, Carol (Tom) Connolly of Perrysburg and Marcia (Charles) Custer of Lindsey. Also surviving Pauline are her grandchildren, Joshua Lamale, Jennifer Sanka, Charlotte (John) Rohrs, Angela Sanka, Ryan Connolly, Matthew Connolly, Christine (Rob) Valasek, Kevin Connolly, and John (Lexy) Custer; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Adelyn, Weston and Matty.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son-in-law, Robert Sanka; and siblings, Donald Miller, Wendelle Miller and Geraldine Slates.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore at 11:00 a.m. where there will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Tim Sherman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
