Ruth Ann (Eversole) Steinle, 81, of Oak Harbor, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky. She was born on February 5, 1937 in Lindsey to Walter & Mary (Reed) Eversole.
Ruth Ann was a 1955 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She retired from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Bell Choir. Ruth Ann was also a member of the Child Conservation League and Joy Circle. She was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.
On April 30, 1960, Ruth Ann married John “Jack” Steinle in Fremont. They celebrated 43 wedding anniversaries before John’s passing on July 25, 2003. Together, they raised 3 daughters, Diana (Tony) Chudzinski and Marsha (Dave) Hasselbach both of Fremont, and Sandra (Tom) Sekerak of Lorain. Also surviving are grandchildren, Kyle (Katie) Chudzinski, Kortni (Matt) Hollis, Alison (Kyle) Miller, Tyler (Ashley) Hasselbach, Christa (Vance) Norton, Michael, Kayla, Brianna & Emma Sekerak; and great-grandchildren, Nora & Neil Miller, Ranen & Maven Hollis, Jaxson Hasselbach, and 2 more expected in 2018.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Jack” Steinle; and siblings, Jeanette Bloom and Willard Eversole.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church beginning at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Jody Rice will officiate. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, Grace Lutheran Church, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
