Alice Mae “Fluff” Brumbaugh, 61, of Findlay passed away at her home on Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born on August 2, 1956 in Helena to Harry O. and Elizabeth S. (Presley) Smith.
Alice was a 1974 Gibsonburg High School graduate. In 1989, she married the love of her life, Steven Brumbaugh. Together they raised their children, Steven J. and Charles A. Brumbaugh both of Findlay. Alice worked as a seamstress until her retirement in 1995. Along with sewing, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a lover of pets and an avid snowman collector.
In addition to her sons, also surviving are siblings, Russell Smith of Clyde, Shirley Love of Helena, Bonnie Pearce of Rising Sun, Mary Capelle of North Baltimore, Harry Smith, Jr. of Deshler, Laura Boesel of North Baltimore, Mark Smith of Clyde, and Donna Sue Smith of Custar.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven “Bear”; parents; and sister, Virginia “Jenny” Smith.
Friends and family are welcomed to the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Quinshan Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
