Juanita Rodriguez

Juanita Rodriguez, 76, of Fremont passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was born on October 20, 1941 to Aurelio and Theresa (Lona) Ruiz in Fremont.

Juanita graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1961. On January 15, 1966 she married the love of her life Nick Rodriguez at St. Ann Catholic Church. Juanita worked for several years at Whirlpool as a Production Operator until her retirement in 2004. Juanita also worked at Heinz, Dayton Marine, Berlekamp and Emerson Electric. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Juanita is survived by, her husband, Nick Rodriguez; children, Toni (Tad) Kluck and Deann (Guenther) Haeusser Jr. both of Fremont; grandchildren, Brittiny (Tad Zweifel) Reed of Gibsonburg, Tori Kluck, Garrett Leo and Derek Nickolas Haeusser all of Fremont; great-grandchildren, Zane and Zade Zweifel both of Gibsonburg; brothers, Tony Ruiz of CO, Joe Ruiz, and Aurelio Ruiz Jr. both of Fremont; sisters, Mary Ann Rios, Mary Elena Gamble, Delores Wampler, Lucy Jacobs, and Rosemary Jackson all of Fremont.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny, Jessie, Frank, and Kenny Ruiz Sr.; sister, Connie Woodel; and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Fr. Chris Kardzis will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
