Roberta "Aunt Bea" Ann Ickes

Roberta Ann “Aunt Bea” Ickes, 80, of Fremont, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her residence. She was born on February 19, 1938 in Holgate to Robert & Leola (Brink) Ickes.

Roberta was employed at Clauss Cutlery Company for 50 years until her retirement in 2006. Aunt Bea enjoyed spending time and playing with Paisley, she never wanted to go a day without seeing her. Aunt Bea will be so missed.

Aunt Bea is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sharon (Bob) Slane, Daniel (Mary) Ickes, Dawn (Brock) Kimmet, Daryl (Shelly) Ickes, Charles (Michelle) Ickes, Brian Slane, Tonia (Brian) Good, Richard Ickes Jr., and Shelley (Kenny) Jones; and great-nieces and nephews, Lauren, Paige, Paisley, Maci, Joshua, Brandon, Chase, Brielle, Tyler, Emma, Leah, Kirstie, Rilynn, Coley, Brenah, Trey, Caleb, Kailynn, Mack, Remi, Oakley, Kendrick, Richy, Amber, Alicia and Krissy.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; her significant other, Reynaldo “Ray” Uballe; and siblings, Donald Ickes, Wanda Hay and Richard Ickes Sr.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on Friday, June 22, 2018 where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Robert Rakay III will officiate and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
