Shawn Marshall Esker, 50, of Gibsonburg, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Filling Home of Mercy in Napoleon where he was loved and cared for like family for 36 years. He was born on March 26, 1968 in Tiffin to Stanley and Ruth (Kenan) Esker.
Surviving is his mom, Ruth; siblings, Greg, Mike and Doug Esker, Denise (Joel) Oberhaus, and Robert (Kourtney) Esker; and 36 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Stanley J. Esker.
Friends and family will be welcomed to the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg, on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church where visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Fr. Stan Tabor will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence and Michael’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Filling Home of Mercy, Napoleon or Hospice of Henry County.
