Carol Susan Crump

Carol Susan Crump, 75, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on December 15, 1942 in Cincinnati to Ralph and Marian (Stafford) Bird Jr.

Carol married her best friend Charles R. “Pete” Crump Sr., who later passed away. After his death, Carol met Jack Kiser of Fremont. She eventually moved to Fremont, where they enjoyed many years together. She was the former Deputy Clerk of Courts of Sandusky County and the former Secretary of Sandusky County Prosecutor. Carol also worked for several years as the legal secretary to attorneys, Tom Shuster, John Brikmanis before she retired in 2005. 

Surviving are her children, Charles (Lori Huff) Crump Jr. of Fremont, and Christopher, (Mindy Fritz) Crump of Marblehead; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Nancy Chadwick and Kenneth Bird.

Carol’s wishes were to have her body cremated and services will be private.
