Alice W. Clink, 90, of Gibsonburg passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Woodhaven Health Care. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Genoa to Otto and Marian (Kock) Wilka.
Alice graduated from Genoa High School in 1946. On December 6, 1947 she married the love of her life, Reverend Ralph Clink, in Gibsonburg. Together they shared 60 years of loving marriage until Ralph’s passing on November 20, 2008. Alice was a member of Rudolph Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for birthdays, needle work, and ceramics.
Surviving are her children, Joyce (Tom Younker) Bower of Gibsonburg, James (Patricia) Clink of IL, and Jerald (Barbara) Clink of Custar; grandchildren, Dana (Tamara) Bower, Jason (Heather) Bower, Candace (Joe) Corrigan, Whitney (Bill) Webster, Brianne (Matt) Riffle, and Amanda (Steve) Seedorf; great-grandchildren, Brock Bower, Collin & Josephine Riffle, Joseph & Samantha Corrigan, Conner & Carson Webster; and brother, Lester (Jeanette) Wilka.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend Ralph Clink; and siblings, Dorothy Lindsey, Florence Floro, Richard and Harold Wilka.
Visitation will be held at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. where Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Mark Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, Gibsonburg.
